Variety's 3rd Annual AWARE Walk

Note from Mark Wasserman, Treasurer, Variety – The Children’s Charity & AWARE Chairperson:


We want to thank each of you for your part in making the 3rd Annual Variety – The Children’s Charity Autism Walk a huge success. Variety’s Autism Walk for Awareness, Resources, and Education (AWARE) had over 650 walkers and we raised over $60,000 that will go to support Variety’s Autism Family Resource Center. Please remember to initiate any matching gift programs that are available to you – who knows, perhaps we can still add to our totals.


We are so grateful to the generosity of the sponsors, individuals and organizations who participated in and donated to the walk. I am particularly pleased that the Autism Family Resource Center is now completely operational and has a dedicated funding source in AWARE. We look forward to continuing this annual tradition. We hope that you will consider joining us again next year, as we hope to make AWARE even more successful in Year 4!
